Movies That Could Have Used a Good Handyman
We all love to sit back and watch a good movie every now and then right? While the need for a handyman may not have been the theme of the following movies, the homes in these movies definitely play a huge role in the way they turned out. Below are our top three picks when it comes to movies whose stars should have called their local handyman, or will have to call one in the future.
Money Pit
This popular movie was released in 1986 starring Tom Hanks and Shelley Long. They come across their dream house for next to nothing but soon after, their dreams fall apart when they realize that the house is crumbling around them. Maybe they should have called an experienced handyman to take care of all their problems.
Swiss Family Robinson
Swiss Family Robinson was released in 1960 and is a classic and heartwarming story of a family who was shipwrecked on a tropical island. Although they did build a pretty great tree house on their own, a handyman or roofer would have served them well.
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
This classic Christmas movie was released in 1989. We all remember the scene where Clark gets trapped in the attic and he ends up falling through the ceiling. They are definitely going to need someone to repair that hole for them.
There are probably other movies out there that need a good handyman in them, but these are our top picks. These characters were all about fixing things on their own or making bad choices in Clark Griswold’s case, but maybe they should have called a handyman to begin with.
